現在、中東情勢（イスラエル、イランおよびその周辺国・地域）の急変に伴い、外務省および文部科学省より強い警戒が呼びかけられています。一部地域では攻撃による領空閉鎖や航空便の運航停止など、深刻な影響が出ています。
また、中東地域以外でも、米国や米国人に関連する施設等がイランを支持する勢力の標的になる可能性が指摘されており、不測の事態が発生する可能性があります。最新情報を収集し、周囲の状況に普段以上に注意してください。
これから海外渡航を予定している方は、自身の安全を第一に考え、以下の通り対応してください。
1. 渡航の中止・延期について
外務省の「海外安全ホームページ」における危険情報レベルに基づき、以下の措置を講じます。
危険レベル2（不要不急の渡航自粛）以上の地域
- 学生
- 対象地域への渡航を禁止します。すでに渡航を予定している場合は、直ちに中止してください。
- 教職員
- 渡航の是非を慎重に判断してください。

※特に中東地域（イラン、イスラエル、サウジアラビア、UAE、ヨルダン等）を経由する航空便についても、運航状況や経由地の安全性を十分に確認してください。
2. すでに滞在している方へ
対象地域に滞在している学生・教職員は、最新の情報を確認し、安全な場所への退避や早期帰国を検討してください。自力での帰国が困難な場合や緊急時は、現地日本大使館・総領事館および大学の窓口へ速やかに連絡してください。
状況は流動的ですので、今後も事態に応じて都度、注意喚起を行います。大学から発信される情報に十分留意してください。

Please be advised that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) have issued a high-level security alert due to the rapidly deteriorating situation in the Middle East (including Israel, Iran, and surrounding countries/regions).
Furthermore, reports indicate that U.S.-affiliated facilities and personnel outside the Middle East could potentially be targeted by Iranian-backed militant groups. Given the risk of unpredictable developments, you are strongly advised to monitor the latest news and maintain a heightened level of situational awareness.
The situation is having a severe impact on international travel, with reports of airspace closures and flight cancellations following military strikes in certain areas.
For those planning to travel abroad, please prioritize your personal safety above all else and adhere to the following instructions:
1. Suspension or Postponement of Trave
In accordance with the ‘‘Infectious Disease Risk Levels’’ and ‘‘Travel Advice and Warnings’’ issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) on the Overseas Safety website, the following measures will be implemented:
Areas designated as Level 2 (Avoid Non-Essential Travel) or higher:
- Students
- Travel to these areas is strictly prohibited. If you have already planned a trip, you must cancel it immediately.
- Faculty and Staff
- You are required to exercise extreme caution and carefully reconsider the necessity of your travel.

NoteFor flights transiting through the Middle East (e.g., Iran, Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, etc.), please thoroughly verify flight statuses and the safety of the transit points.
2. For Those Already Residing or Staying Abroad
Students, faculty, and staff currently staying in the affected areas should monitor the latest information and consider evacuating to a safe location or returning to Japan as early as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Rikkyo University’s designated office immediately.
