  • As a general rule, students may not leave the examination room during the last 10 minutes of the examination.

2-6. Academic Misconduct

  • Examinations are conducted to assess each student's achievement in the course. Any act that violates this purpose will be treated as Academic Misconduct.
  • If Academic Misconduct is identified during an examination, the student will be ordered to leave the examination room immediately.

  • For courses where grading is, in principle, conducted only by methods other than a written examination, such as report examination courses and courses based only on class performance, grading performed prior to the academic misconduct shall remain valid.
  • Disciplinary actions against those who commit academic misconduct consist of three types: admonition, suspension, and dismissal from the University.

Students who are unable to take a Written Examination for this reason must apply for a Makeup Examination during the designated application period.
  • An examination taken during a period of restriction on campus attendance will be void. Students seeking to take a Makeup Examination for a course whose examination has been rendered void must still submit a Makeup Examination application during the designated application period.

  • Students may bring a beverage into the examination room only if all of the following conditions are met:
    1. 1
The beverage must be in either one plain, transparent plastic bottle of 1 liter or less, with all labels removed, or one plain water bottle of similar size.
